Here we see members of the National Fire Service building a concrete water tank somewhere in Southsea. But where?

I would really like to know for a ‘then and now’ shot.

The emergency tanks were built in streets during the war to help emergency services fight fires during the blitz when mains were ruptured.

I like the ‘No parking in front of garage’ sign at the back of the photo. Even back then, with few people owning cars, residents seemed to have had a problem.
