Have your say

On September 3 I asked if any of you remembered a crunch match played at Fratton Park in 1948 between HMS Collingwood and the Royal Marines.

I wondered if anyone could remember any of the players.

Beryl Young e-mailed telling me her late husband told her many times of his experience playing in that game.

He was LREM Maurice Young who was always known as Brigham.

He was a leading radio electrical mechanic and he played at right-back for the navy.

He is no longer with us, but had he been Beryl says he would have been in his 91st year.
