Have your say

For those of you of a certain age who cannot remember Guildhall Square before it was pedestrianised in the early 1970s, take a look and weep at what you’ve missed.

It was a truly wonderful location, especially on a weekend evening, with the neon lights giving a certain glow and trolley buses and cars bustling through.

There was the sound of trains arriving and departing from the high-level town station and people everywhere. Marvellous, but all gone.
