On July 15, 1935 George V visited Portsmouth for the jubilee review of the fleet, a line of ships which stretched an amazing 27 miles.

In attendance was the royal yacht Victoria and Albert, pictured here in the harbour waiting to take the king to Spithead to start his review of the ships.
