Today we continue our look at the work of Gosport artist Martin Snape.

Reader Martin Halsey has a collection of postcards featuring Snape’s landscapes around Portsmouth Harbour and wanted to share them.

The artist (1852-1930)concentrated mainly on scenes around south-east Hampshire and exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1874 and 1901.
