Share stories of the Battle of Jutland at a drop-in meeting in Portsmouth.

To commemorate the centenary of the battle, Portsdown U3A is undertaking research for a roll of honour and map to remember the men with local connections who lost their lives in 1916.

As part of their research, Portsdown U3A’s local history and genealogy groups are inviting the community to meet them to share stories of their family involvement in the major sea battle.

Two such drop-in sessions have already proved successful.

The next session will be from 3pm to 6pm on Thursday, April 7 in The Doyle Room at the History Centre on the second floor of the Central Library, Portsmouth.
