Have your say

How many of you cut your gig-going teeth at the Guildhall, Portsmouth?

Did you meet your future husband or wife in the excited screaming mass of humanity at a Beatles’s, Rolling Stones’s or Jimi Hendrix concert?

Perhaps your most treasured memory of the famous old building was performing on its stage in a schools’ concert?

The city’s most recognisable civic building will hold millions of memories for all of you and we want you to share them with us.

To mark the building’s 125th anniversary this summer I shall be devoting part of Remember When each day throughout August to your memories and pictures.

And they don’t have to come from the 1960s and ’70s. I’d love to see your selfies from more recent events there such as the Lily Allen and Royal Blood gigs. Or perhaps you captured a picture of yourself with a friend at one of the many Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra concerts.
