This picture of Verrecchia’s popular cafe in Guildhall Square, Portsmouth, in 1966, brought back memories for Karen Eveleigh.

She sent me this picture of her father Ernest pictured in one of the booths with her aunt Winnie who is on the left.

Karen, of St George’s Square, Portsea, said her dad was an upholsterer who repaired the seats in the cafe, but she can’t remember which year this might have been taken.
