Photography and flying left legacy of city from the air

Jim Bramble was a teacher at Portsmouth Technical High School during the 1960s.

That was before it became the City of Portsmouth Boys’ School in 1975.

Two of his main hobbies were photography and flying and he would regularly take to the skies from the flying school based at the old Portsmouth Airport, taking some now-historical aerial shots of the city.

Three of his pictures are featured here today.
