Have your say

This rather creased photograph was sent to me by a woman called Margaret and it shows a print of a painting of the doorway from a house which was advertised in an American magazine.

It states: ‘Portsmouth, a southern borough of Britain on the English Channel, is noted for its distinctive quality of light.’

It then says the original painting by Thomas Kincade shows the ‘classic architecture, flower-filled garden and sun-dappled walkway which are rendered with amazing skill’. It was for sale at $169.99.
