Have your say

Here we catch up some of the pieces from last week’s column.

My request last week for information on Petty Officer Cornish from Wymering in Portsmouth and the mystery over his full naval funeral with gun carriage in 1960 has brought in several replies. I’ll update you next week.

If I asked you what road in Portsmouth hasn’t got a building on either side, what would you say? Of course there’s the M275, but I mean a residential road. It was not until the other day that a reader living in Baffins told me. It is Cooper Road between Tangier Road and Stanley Avenue . All it does is connect the two roads together.
