This was the temporary Royal Sailors’ Rest on the corner of Commercial and Edinburgh roads, Portsmouth.

It moved after the permanent building was destroyed by German bombs in October 1941. A sharp eye will note that for security reasons, ships’ names have been deleted from these sailors’ uniforms.
