Some weeks ago I published a photograph of the old Seahorse bars down at Clarence Pier, Southsea. Audrey Gover of West Street, Havant sent in this photograph taken in the bar sometime in 1959.

Audrey is in summer dress with her uncle, George Harris, in the white cap. He was a well-known Paulsgrove resident. His son, George Jnr, is alongside him.

To the right above the man with the spectacles is the famous seahorse emblem.
