Following on from the various Remember When pieces about the famed Arnett family of fishmongers in Portsmouth, Dennis Marsh sent me this picture of his sister Rose and her husband Frank Arnett.

They were the proprietors of Arnett’s fish shop at High Street, Cosham.

Dennis, of Kirby Road, Copnor, says: ‘My wife Teresa and I used to pluck the chickens and skin the rabbits to be sold in the shop at Christmas.’
