A report in the Portsmouth Evening News of February 19, 1964, stated that King Mahendra ordered professional hunters into Western Nepal.

They were to track down a man-eating tigress and two full grown cubs which, between them, had reportedly killed and taken more than 80 people in the two previous years. And we worry about stray dogs?
