Elvis fans Tim Harcus and Paul Jackson quiffed their hair, curled their lips and substituted Southsea for Vegas for a night of classics from the ‘King’.

Or rather the lads popped on fake Elvis hairdos, watched tribute act Lee ‘Memphis’ King and left with big smiles on their faces.

Work colleagues Tim, from Lovedean, and Paul, who lives in London, saw the show at the Kings Theatre and were very impressed.

‘We’re big fans of Elvis’s music but I’d never watched a tribute act. I enjoyed it, he was pretty amazing,’ says Tim.

He says other members of the audience were dressed a little more soberly but they didn’t mind Paul and Tim’s own little homage to Presley.

‘We got a big cheer when we got up from our seats in the interval,’ says Tim, pictured right.
