Have your say

I adore dessert wine and never need an excuse to open a bottle, but Christmas is as good an excuse as any, so here are two festive selections when it comes to pudding wine.

There are, of course, many styles of dessert wine, from classic Sauterne styles, through to the super rich fortified ‘stickies’ from Australia, and it just depends on the type of pudding you are going to serve.

Concha y Toro Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc 2007, Maule (Majestic £7.49 per half or £5.99 if you buy two, Hermitage Cellars £5.15) is brilliant value and delivers tropical fruits, honey and a little spice in a very fresh.
