We’ve been performing at Ferneham Hall in Fareham for the past 12 years now.

This year we took on Alice in Wonderland for our big school annual production.

We have developed a reputation for doing good high quality stuff.

I write the script and the music so the children see the real creative act of writing a musical.

It was fantastic – they really pulled it off. It was tremendous. This year we had three performances of the production. It’s some of the best acting we have ever had and there was a real sense of team work there too. Everybody was supporting each other.

You always get somebody who is a bit shy, but by the end they join in. We had 100 per cent involvement from Year 6.

It’s a real confidence thing. We always believe as a school that this helps our academic achievement.

The whole team this year has been even better right down to the costumes which were done by parents.

They always help out with the costumes which is fantastic. Musically I am thrilled to bits. There is no feeling like having your own music performed and appreciated and seeing tears of joy and of sadness. It’s very moving.

The people that have seen our productions before expect them to be very good. And people that come from outside from a long way away are absolutely flabbergasted by the quality.
