Chipper says: '˜Weatherman, won't you send us some sun?

Greetings Chipsters everywhere. What a wonderfully-weird week it's been for the weather.

I really couldnt keep up. Brindley Milligan and I wanted to plan a bank holiday filled with lots of activities, but as we didn’t know what the weather would be like, it proved difficult.

There’s been sun, rain, wind, hail and even snow. Only here in the UK could you have all of those in one day!

Oh weatherman, pleeeeease can we have some sun and warmth? I promise I’ll be very good! Despite the uppity weather, me and my feline friend were determined to have fun last weekend.

There were lots of fairs happening in and around our area, and you know what that means: bouncy castles, rides, candyfloss and games galore. I love it when the whole community comes together for events like this.

There was some sun so I took advantage of it and went for an early-season dip in the sea – not Brindley though – he doesn’t really like water.

I was even thinking of having my own stall at the fair. I’m great at arts and crafts and I can make a mean dog treat or two, so it could be a good way for me to earn some extra money.

I’d love to know how you spent your bank holiday. Why not write and let me know. My address is on this page, over to the right. And don’t forget, I also love it when you colour in my picture and send it to me.

This week, three of my Chipsters have won the latest prize in my brilliant competition.

The winners are:

Keira Ransley (5189)

Bryony Reid (2054) and

Harry Ware (5137)

Congratulations to all three of you. You have each won yourselves a Disney book. I hope you enjoy reading it just as much as I did.

If you didn’t win this time around, it doesn’t matter, there’s another chance to win a Disney book. Just make sure you buy The News today.

All you have to do is complete the wordsearch.

Good luck!
