Have you ever fancied a sun-filled trip across the Mediterranean, while also hearing about the highs and lows of an ex-Pompey’s boss’ football career?

Rather than giving his players a inspiring team talk in the Fratton Park changing rooms, Harry Redknapp will be taking to the seas this summer to make guest appearances on cruise journeys.

The cruises will stop off in Gibraltar on their way back to the UK.

The 70-year-old has been booked to appear on the Hampshire ship Crown Princess from April to September.

Departing from Southampton, the cruises will take holidaymakers past Barcelona, Rome, Marseille and Gibraltar before heading back to the south coast.

Cruises are available for seven-day and 14-day trips.

Redknapp, who managed Portsmouth between 2002-04 and 2005-08, will join other star-studded names booked by the cruise company, including Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell and former England goalkeeper Peter Shilton.

There will also be meet-and-greets including photographs and book signings.
