Fire firm is now at Voyager
A fire extinguisher specialist has moved into new premises at Voyager Park, Portsmouth.
Sea-Fire Europe, which specialises in the design and manufacture of fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems for the marine and pleasure craft industry, said it moved to meet its growth requirements.
Formerly based in Segensworth, Sea-Fire Europe was attracted to Voyager Park by the opportunities for expansion.
General manager Marta Szalkiewicz said: 'Our new premises at Voyager Park are double the size of our previous space, enabling us to offer a wider range of products, provide a faster, more efficient service to meet the needs of our customers and giving room for further expansion.'
Jon Rea-Palmer, senior leasing surveyor at Segro, which owns Voyager Park, said: 'This latest freehold deal highlights the continuing attraction of Voyager Park's excellent location and high-quality build.
The flexibility of the scheme and availability of design and build opportunities as well as existing freehold and leasehold units, means that we are able to offer a range of solutions to meet the needs of growing companies.'
Located on Portfield Road, close to the A27 and Junction 12 of the M27, Voyager Park will provide up to 645,000 sq ft of new industrial and warehouse space when fully developed.
Phase one includes Explorer and Discovery, which comprise 12 leasehold units.
