Autumn rain and a bit of a chill might put us off getting out there just a bit.
However, it’s my favourite time for piling on jumpers and pulling on my wellies and getting outside into the garden or to walk beside the sea.
Oh lucky us that we have both.
So, in this lovely season, there’s something to please everyone, whether you’re wrapped in a duvet or marking out your plot for your winter veg.
Thanks to all our gardeners aged three to 93 who grew beautiful flowers and veg for this year’s Portsmouth in Bloom.
All the entries simply reinforced what a beautiful city we live in.
Why not watch this little film about growing your own superfood on your windowsill.
It will give some great ideas for some really tasty microveg you can eat or share in just a few weeks’ time.
