What's your job and what does it involve? I'm a web developer, and my job is to ensure that all of our clients' websites are up-to-date and working properly.
All companies need marketing to be successful, and one of the fastest growing variations is internet marketing.
Many companies are judged on the quality and detail of their website.
A bad website can turn potential customers away within seconds of logging on to it, whereas a good, clean website can attract people and turn them into regular customers.
What do you like about the job? I like keeping on the ball with the diversity of websites, and I also enjoy the creativity of building a first-rate website that gets good reviews. It's a feelgood accomplishment.
What do you dislike? The nerve-racking moment when you unveil a new website to a client and wait for their approval – or otherwise! Fortunately, it's all been positive so far.
What would be your ideal job? From a pragmatic viewpoint being part of a team of web designers and developers working on high-profile projects. Idealistically – a scuba diver.
