This weekend families can enjoy one of three children’s shows in our area’s theatres.

Portsmouth Players perform Little Shop of Horrors, the famous musical about an alien plant, at The City of Portsmouth Boys’ School tonight at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Havant’s SOOP Theatre turn their attention to Vikings in their newest original theatre show, A Viking Tale – The Story of Sigurd the Dragonslayer, premiering at The Spring tonight at 7pm.

And The Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham hosts Slapdash Galaxy on Sunday from 4.30pm. Presented by Bunk Puppets and Scamp Theatre, this is the tale of two brothers on an epic journey across the galaxy. It’s performed with shadow puppetry and includes craft, music and installation drop-in activities from 2.30pm.
