DAILY STAR: Big Sam Allardyce's Premier League stars finally saw off Blyth's brave battlers. Also: Chelsea boss Phil Scolari has suffered a hammer blow after being told he won't be given a penny to spend in the transfer window.
DAILY MIRROR: Carlos Tevez last night opened the door to an exit from Manchester United - and invited moves from Real Madrid... and even Manchester City. Also: Mark Hughes is willing to offer midfielder Scott Parker a staggering 100,000 a week to quit West Ham.
DAILY MAIL: Harry Redknapp last night claimed Tottenham's transfer activities are squeaky clean and insisted there are no dirty tricks behind their attempts to sign Jermain Defoe and Stewart Downing. Also: The FA's troubled bid to host the 2018 World Cup will cause further controversy by including a cash mountain of 1.5million in the proposed budget for what will be perceived as blatant 'sweeteners' to win votes.

THE TIMES: Carlos Tevez, the Argentina forward, has threatened to quit Manchester United unless his long-term future at Old Trafford is resolved soon.
The DAILY TELEGRAPH: Danny Cipriani is to undergo a special training regime designed to fix a flaw in his kicking which makes the England fly-half vulnerable to being charged down by opposing players. Also: The Football Association have insisted that comments by Fabio Capello, the England manager, criticising Steven Gerrard's arrest and impending court appearance were nothing more than an "off-the-cuff" remark.
THE GUARDIAN: Mark Hughes has identified a small but influential group of Manchester City players he fears are trying to lead a dressing-room mutiny against him. Also: Tom Hicks and George Gillett have been granted a six-month period of grace to repay 350.5million to Liverpool's lenders.
THE INDEPENDENT: Carlos Tevez last night accused Manchester United of failing to offer him a permanent deal and said that Sir Alex Ferguson's claim he had turned down a contract was not correct.
