Head to the high seas with Captain Scabb on a swashbuckling adventure tomorrow with a new Paultons Park attraction – a state-of-the-art 4D cinema.
Discover the legendary treasure of Skull Rock, and audiences will feel the sea spray, peer through the eerie mist and ride the high rolling waves in a family adventure.
The film was crowned winner of the Best Children’s Animated Film award at the prestigious Stuttgart Film Festival.
With an investment of £1.5 million, the brand new 150-seat theatre will put families in the heart of the action with a 3D movie, specially-designed moving chairs that coincide with the action on the big screen, water sprays, blasts of air, leg ticklers, bubbles and even snow.
The cinema premieres tomorrow with a special red carpet event. Commercial director of Paultons Park, Stephen Lorton, says: ‘The 4D cinema is a great new addition to the park for the 2013 season.
‘We continually aim to improve the customer experience at Paultons Park. The 4D cinema provides fantastic indoor entertainment for the whole family.’
