Lena Reed celebrated turning 100 with a big party at the Broad Oak Sports and Social Club in Hilsea.

More than 150 guests joined Lena to wish her well.

Lena grew up in Portsea and is the oldest of eight children.

She worked for the Red Cross during the Second World War and went on to marry husband Albert Reed.

They were married for 46 years and while she was married, Lena set up her own business selling groceries and cakes.

Lena, who now lives in Waterlooville, would make all the cakes for her shop but also loved to go out dancing. So she’d go out in the evening and come back to ice the cakes before going to bed.
