The happy couple then spent their honeymoon in Torquay.

They have three sons and one daughter, Julian, 55, Howard, 53, Trudie, 51, and Gregory, 49.

Laurie, 87, and Pamela, 83, also have seven grandchildren Hannah, Lucy, Charlie, Ruby, Samuel, Amy and Matthew, plus two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Archie.

To celebrate, they had a meal together in the evening.

On Saturday they had a big family meal at the Still and West pub in Old Portsmouth.
