James Kendall proposed to his girlfriend Joanne Reader with a ring hidden in a box of chocolates.

James, 34, and Joanne, 30, met through friends seven years ago and have been together ever since.

The happy couple were married at Trinity Church in Fareham, and held a reception for around 150 guests at the Solent Hotel in Whiteley.

James runs his own pizza delivery company while Joanne is a personal assistant.

They spent a couple of days in Malta for their honeymoon, but as James says: ‘It was probably warmer being here to be honest!’
