Kelly Byrne and Brian Clark decided to have an extra special wedding day.

As reported in The News last week, they tied the knot on leap day – February 29.

The couple live in Hilsea and wanted to make the most of the extra special day that only comes around once every four years.

Kerry, 32, and Brian, 40, were married at St Nicholas’ Church, in Copnor, and held their reception at Southsea Golf Club.

Kerry says: ‘It was really fantastic, it couldn’t have gone any better than it did. Everybody enjoyed themselves and it went without a hitch.’

The newlyweds are planning a cruise around the Mediterranean for their honeymoon.

They’ve been together for eight years and first met when they both worked as taxi drivers together.
