THERE are great money-saving discounts on two popular attractions on your doorstep to enjoy.

Certain visitors to both the Blue Reef Aquarium and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard can take advantage of discounted admission rates and reduced prices in the gift shops and restaurants.

Anyone with a Portsmouth Library Card can receive a 50 per cent discount off an adult, child, senior or student ticket into Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

But this offer ends on February 11, so act fast! The tickets are valid for one year and include unlimited entry into Action Stations, HMS Warrior 1860 and the National Museum of the Royal Navy and valid for one entry into HMS Victory, Mary Rose Museum and a Harbour Tour.

Library card holders also receive a 25 per cent discount off food and drink at Boathouse No.7 restaurant.

As a reward for all the brave men and women who protect us, the Blue Reef Aquarium is offering a £2 discount on the full admission price for all members of the armed forces and the emergency services.

It is also offering £2 off for up to four accompanying adults, seniors or children.

The popular venue also has special discounted rates for memberships and 10 per cent discounts in the gift shop.
