Have your say

Fans of Star Trek, Star Wars and, for the younger generation, Monsters vs Aliens, should head down to Action Stations in the Historic Dockyard as it hosts a sci-fi and fantasy weekend tomorrow and Sunday from 10am-5.30pm.

Visitors will have their imaginations expanded through a variety of events and activities.

The centre aims to bring worlds old and new through magic and thrill, but be sure to keep your light sabre close as the odd alien could be lurking in a corner.

See the range of sci-fi displays throughout the venue and dress up in a range of fantasy costumes.

The event will also include laser quest where you will have to keep your wits about you in the fun maze.

While there you can explore the rest of the centre that boasts action, adventure and history all under one roof.

Visitors will be able to reach dizzy heights as they scale the climbing tower.

Youngsters can tackle the Sky Tykes – a ropes course with little ones in mind.

Admission to the sci-fi event is £10 with two games of laser quest or £12 to add a screening of the Guardians Of The Galaxy film.
