You can discover all about the history and music of the Royal Marines next week with A Night At The Museum.

Attend an evening of music, history and entertainment as the Royal Marines School of Music and the Royal Marines Museum will join forces next Thursday and Friday. You’ll also get the chance to explore the museum and its history on the Royal Marines, and take a journey through the history of the band service with celebrated writer and historian John Ambler. Afterwards, watch history be brought to life through music and enjoy an intimate concert with the family as the orchestra from the Royal Marines School of Music performs various famous classical music. Tickets cost £10 to £12 from the Royal Marines Museum on (023) 9288 2414. John Ambler and the musicians will present the history of the Band Service at 6.30pm, and the ticket price includes entry to the museum from 5pm until 7.30pm. The Royal Marines Band Service Concert starts at 7.30pm and finishes at approximately 9.30pm. There will also be a buffet available prior to the concert at £9.95 per person, although this must be booked in advance.
