CHILDREN had the chance to listen to stories and make photo frames during activity sessions in Gosport.

The Discovery Centre held the session around a Valentine’s theme and after youngsters were told a story, they were tasked with making a photo frame.

They then put in a photo of someone they loved.

Kathryn Dawson, operations manager at the centre, said: ‘We had 20 children and their parents. It’s somewhere that the whole family can come. There are lots of things for all ages to do.

‘It’s about the old traditional storytelling. We had a storytelling throne and a storyteller. This was a chance for the children to get nice and messy.’
