THIS WEEK IN 1995: Experts may get a say in granting divorces

Have your say

Over the next few weeks Action Stations in the Historic Dockyard is celebrating its 13th birthday and Laser Quest is celebrating its second birthday.

To mark the occasion, both centres are having a joint birthday party this Sunday from 10am-5.30pm.

The team will challenge groups of the public at various times throughout the day to see if they can be beaten on the Climbing Tower and in the Laser Quest maze.

Action Stations offers a wide variety of interactive displays and games that are suitable for all ages.

The centre has recently become the home of Sky Tykes, the first attraction in the Historic Dockyard that is aimed at younger children.

Sky Tykes is based on a high ropes course, but as it is aimed at two to seven-year- olds, it is only 50cm off the ground.

Children can travel across rope bridges and balance beams while strapped into a harness for safety.

A valid Historic Dockyard ticket is needed for both events. Adults cost £27 and children are £20.

Laser Quest costs extra and prices can be found on the website at
