Have your say

Arm the kids with crayons, pencils, pens and paint and let them go wild at Marwell near Winchester.

Marwell Wildlife is holding a special art competition to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2012.

The winning drawings and paintings of an animal in the park will be turned into a 12-metre-long mosaic in May.

Visit the zoo before you enter to get the creative juices flowing with a visit to attractions like the Tropical World with lizards and piranha fish. Families can swing past the Siamang Gibbons as they go from tree to tree and they can witness the creatures of African valleys and aridlands too.

All in all there are more than 180 exotic and endangered species to inspire young artists. The competition closes next Friday (January 6). Go to marwell.org.uk.
