What would be your ideal weekend destination?
I would jet off to somewhere like Barcelona or Rome. Both are beautiful cities where I could happily enjoy the atmosphere, culture, food and wine.
Not counting your loved ones, who would be your dream companion?
Comedian Tim Minchin would be fun.
Or, for the ultimate girlie companion, Zooey Deschanel.
What music would you take with you?
The Black Keys, Bon Iver and Lana Del Rey. And you can’t go wrong with a bit of Dolly Parton.
What about something to read?
I am a fan of series that follow one theme or storyline. I love it when you get to the end of one book and literally can’t wait to start the next in the series.
What would be your ultimate way to relax?
I am at my most calm when lying in a field, park or anywhere outdoors, with sun, my sketchbook or book, some chilled tunes and lovely people.
If money were no object, which shop would you head for?
I have a slight shoe obsession, so it would be Christian Louboutin.
And, at heart, I adore a good market filled with treasures from around the world, vintage pieces, handmade jewellery and beautiful things.
What’s your all-time favourite film?
I don’t have just one. A few favourites would be What Dreams May Come, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, My Girl, and Wristcutters: A Love Story.
We’re buying the drinks tonight. What’s your poison?
A mojito please.
What are you doing this weekend?
I will be hosting the craft workshops at The Spring, so I’ll be doing all sorts of Easter crafty things, like making Easter baskets, painting eggs and making cards.
On Sunday I’m going on a bike ride with my friends and then I’m taking part in the free art exhibition which is organised by the Portsmouth Creative Movement. It’s a really great project.
What’s a favourite local destination for a weekend day out?
There always seems to be something happening in Southsea, A bike ride along the seafront, a craft fair, fish and chips in Old Portsmouth, a barbecue on the common or a day at the bandstand.
