For putting together one of the biggest student music festivals, Becky Hill has shown great enthusiasm for music.
Becky, 44, is chairman of the Portsmouth Schools Music Festival committee.
It helps to organise the annual four-day event.
The music teacher, said: ‘I’m very overwhelmed at the nomination.
‘I work with a committee of 12 people who all put in a lot of effort too.
‘The music festival is a unique, one-off event that is fantastic.
‘And what’s so great about it is it involves children from all schools in Portsmouth who come together and celebrate music.’
This year’s festival took place at Portsmouth Guildhall.
Pupils from all schools in the city joined together to sing in bands and choirs, perform solo songs and do dance routines in front of a packed audience.
