Kevin Bloody Wilson has been bringing his adult Aussie singalong evenings to Portsmouth for almost 30 years. But, sadly for his legions of fans, this Cop-You-Later tour will be his last.

Kevin Bloody Wilson has been bringing his adult Aussie singalong evenings to Portsmouth for almost 30 years. But, sadly for his legions of fans, this Cop-You-Later tour will be his last.

Despite very little media coverage due to the nature of his act, Kev has built a huge following. Grabbing their last chance to get a fix of his unique politically incorrect view of the world, the crowd at Portsmouth Guildhall raised the roof, joining in the obscene choruses on a tour of his back catalogue.

Reviewing the content in a family newspaper is challenging but suffice to say that, true to his song, ‘the kid, he swears a bit’.

He tells us his Canadian entry visa noted that the use of a specific expletive is banned on stage, only encouraging him to write a song with the very word in the title especially for that Canadian tour.

His act doesn’t rely entirely on shock. There’s wordplay, wit and the tunes are difficult to forget.

There will be a short, bearded and very witty Kevin Bloody Wilson-shaped hole in many calendars.
