When did you last go away and where did you go?
I last went away in May this year with my husband and two children to Center Parcs at Longleat Forest. With my children being so young (two and five) I didn’t feel travelling too far would suit us. Center Parcs is so easy as we just load up the car and we are there within an hour-and-a-half.
What was the last gig/concert you went to?
It was The Script at the O2 Arena in London in March. I went with my husband for our wedding anniversary. The Script are my favourite band and the concert was amazing.
What about the last theatre show you saw?
Evita at the Mayflower in Southampton last weekend. There was a great atmosphere and it was one of the best shows I have seen.
What was the last book you read?
I love reading autobiographies and I am currently reading Karren Brady’s book Strong Woman. I find her very inspiring.
What was the last film you saw?
The last time I went to the cinema was in the summer with my daughter. We went to see the Disney film Planes. It was my daughter’s first trip to the cinema and she really enjoyed it as she loves any thing to do with aeroplanes (I used to be an air hostess and her dad is a pilot so there is a slight obsession in our family).
What is your favourite way to relax?
A long relaxing bath with scented candles and bath oils. I read a book, have a glass of wine and switch off.
What do you watch on TV?
I rarely get time to watch TV but I am into Downton Abbey at the moment and my daughter likes X Factor. I also love anything to do with cooking and travel.
Which celeb would you most like to spend a weekend with?
It would have to be someone like Karren Brady or Alan Sugar. I would use the time to get all their business advice. I would also love to spend the weekend with Danny O’Donoghue from The Script although my husband may not be too happy!
Where do you eat out?
When we eat out it usually involves taking the children with us and they love Frankie and Bennys. If I get the chance to have an evening alone with my husband, we love Thai food and Koh Thai Tapas in Southsea is lovely.
What’s your signature dish, if you’re cooking?
My signature dish would be my Spanish omelette. I lived in Spain for a year when I was 18, with a Spanish family. I was lucky enough to learn a number of Spanish dishes but this is the most simple and tasty one.
Do you have any hobbies?
I am lucky that I have been able to turn my hobbies into my jobs. I teach hula hooping and love it. I also love learning languages, dancing, travelling and spending time with my family.
