Jenny Nolan, 31, of Gosport, is marketing manager of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. The tower has a special new family ticket throughout July and August - a family of four can visit for under £25.

When did you last go away and where did you go?

My husband won a weekend trip to Barcelona through a radio competition run by Southampton Airport last year. We’d already been to Barcelona with friends earlier in the year, but were very pleased to be going back – for free! It’s a beautiful city and was much warmer the second time round, which made it even better.

What was the last gig/concert/comedy show you went to?

I really enjoyed our first Spinnaker Tower Comedy Night when Jarred Christmas headlined. And, in fact, the last music night I went to was also at Spinnaker Tower’s Waterfront Café as we’re doing live music nights every Thursday throughout summer. Now summer is here, it’s really lovely to be able to enjoy a few drinks with friends on the waterfront after work.

What about the last theatre show you saw?

My husband surprised me with tickets to Shrek The Musical for Christmas. It was fantastic. I love a good musical and the costumes and set were amazing.

The last book you read?

It takes a really good book to get me hooked. I read The Snowman by Jo Nesbo and had to pretty much sit and read the whole thing in one go to find out what happened, as it was terrifying.

The last film you saw at the cinema or on DVD?

Despicable Me 2. It’s brilliant! The minions are hysterical, especially when they sing. If you want a good laugh you have to see this film.

What’s your favourite way to relax?

A bubble bath, a glass of wine and some interior design magazines or just chilling out with my husband doing very little.

What do you watch on TV?

I have a slight addiction to MasterChef Australia. It’s so much better than the UK version, but each series goes on forever.

And which TV programmes do you avoid?

I don’t watch soaps, they’re too depressing and I can’t watch anything like Embarrassing Bodies – I just don’t want to see that stuff!

Which celeb would you most like to spend a weekend with?

Claudia Winkleman. She seems a little bit bonkers, so I think it would be fun.

Where do you shop?

For a proper shopping session I usually head to West Quay in Southampton because of the number and range of shops.

Where do you eat out?

I like the relatively new Coast To Coast restaurant in Gunwharf Quays. It reminds me of my honeymoon driving Route 66.

Where’s good for a day out locally?

I like getting out for a walk and there’s a really nice route around the Hamble River.
