Richard Brixey (AKA Strategy) is 27 and lives in Portsmouth. He’s a rap and hip hop artist. His new album, In The Moment, is out on Friday.

Where did you last go away?

About a month ago, me and my partner went to visit my mum in Alton.

We took my two-year-old little girl with us as well as my mum doesn’t get to see her granddaughter often as she is pretty ill and can’t get to Portsmouth that often.

We all had a brilliant time and went for walks, watched films and just spent good quality time together.

What was the last gig you went to?

I went to see Bennett, a fellow underground artist, perform at The Cellars at Eastney.

It was a really good night and there were some other artists performing as well.

The event is called Listen Between The Lines and they normally do it there once or twice a month.

The last book you read?

I don’t read much, but about five months ago I read Vinnie Jones’s autobiography.

The last film you saw at the cinema?

World War Z. It was a really good film and would definitely get it on DVD when it comes out.

How do you relax?

When I need to relax, all I do is listen to an instrumental track produced by Compton Beatss, Quiet Boy productions or Parv.

And I write music for either a mixtape or to upload to my soundcloud page – strategymusicuk.

What do you watch on TV?

Films, Top Gear, Family Guy, The Simpsons or just an interesting documentary.

I like to watch programmes that can either make me laugh or something interesting that I’d like to learn about.

What do you avoid on TV?

I don’t like to watch EastEnders, Corrie, Emmerdale or Hollyoaks because I don’t really like soaps.

Which celebrity would you like to spend a weekend with?

I would most like to spend a weekend with either Mic Righteous or Eminem (pictured left) because they are both massive influences in my life and music and it would give me the chance to learn more about them and the things they have gone through during their travels in the music industry.

Where do you shop?

I do my shopping anywhere really.

I am a bit of a bargain-hunter so will normally go wherever the bargains are.

Where do you eat out?

I very rarely eat out, but if I do then it’s normally just a quick bite to eat in McDonald’s or KFC or somewhere like that.

Where’s good for a day out?

I’d recommend going to Gunwharf Quays because there’s a lot for families to do and also there’s a large variety of restaurants and shops.

If you wanted a good day out away from Portsmouth, then I would recommend going to Brighton because of the city and the lovely seafront.
