An office fit-out company has moved into new headquarters near Portsmouth as part of its expansion bid.
ODT Business Interiors has signed a 10-year lease on the ground floor of two-storey 1580 Parkway at Solent Business Park, Whiteley.
The firm, which designs and fits out business interiors for office and industrial, has now moved in following a 60,000 refurbishment by its team on the 2,894 sq ft space.
On behalf of global property group Goodman, the office has been leased at 43,410 a year, equivalent to 15 a sq ft, through joint agents King Sturge and Hughes Ellard.
It is the second office on the park, less than 50 metres away from 1580 Parkway, which has been let through the joint agents recently.
Recruiter Matchtech Group Plc took a 10-year lease on 1490 Parkway, which is 5,000 sq ft, for two new trading brands, Barclay Meade and Alderwood Education.
Russell Mogridge, of Hughes Ellard and Jason Webb of King Sturge, said jointly: 'The market is undoubtedly picking up here, with two significant lettings at Solent Business Park of late.
'The two occupiers, ODT Business Interiors and Matchtech, are bellwethers of the economy, and the fact they both are doing well on the back of other companies' successes of late is of no small significance.'
Andrew Saunders of ODT Business Interiors, which was previously based near Fareham, said: 'Our new headquarters will act as a springboard for growth as we look to expand organically through our client-for-life business model.
'The aim is to make the company the top business interiors specialist in the south over the coming years. Solent Business Park is home to some of the economy's engine drivers, and it is exciting to be part of this vibrancy.'
ODT Business Interiors, which carried out the five-figure fit-out for Matchtech at nearby 1490, has been at the heart of a range of prominent contracts.
They include the head office of First Drinks, which is Britain's fastest-growing distributor of drinks, at Hook, and global drinks giant Bacardi Martini near Winchester.
Among other occupiers at the park are NATS and Zurich.
