Danielle Rae wanted a traditional wedding, but there was one factor she wanted to do differently to most brides – her wedding dress.
Instead of the normal white or ivory coloured dress, Danielle decided to wear purple, as she felt it went better with her bridemaids’ dresses.
Danielle married Bradley Hollis at the Rhinefield House Hotel in beautiful Brockenhurst.
The couple also held their reception at the New Forest venue later in the evening.
During their reception they had a casino, complete with fun money, so their guests could enjoy a flutter at the party.
And Danielle, 22, and 23-year-old Bradley celebrated their fifth anniversary of being together on their wedding day.
They first met when Danielle was at college and were introduced mutual friends.
They quickly began dating and in 2009, Bradley proposed following a romantic meal out.
The couple and all their wedding guests had a lovely day celebrating the happy union.
Soon after they made their vows, the couple went on their dream honeymoon for two weeks to Orlando in Florida.
While they were there they went to all the theme parks – including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – and went on shopping trips, taking the opportunity to spend lots of time together.
Danielle works as a teaching assistant at St Paul’s Catholic Primary School in Paulsgrove, while Bradley works for Morrisons.
They both grew up in Southsea and recently brought a flat in the area together.
‘We had such a great day,’ says Danielle.
‘Everyone seemed to enjoy it, and our honeymoon was amazing.
‘We had a great time.’
