Greetings Chipsters! I’m writing to you this week from outside my kennel where I’m basking in the late summer sun.

Luckily my wi-fi reaches out to the lawn so I can use my lap(dog)top while catching a few rays.

Talking of rays of sunshine, here’s a big sloppy lick to Katie Child-Best , of Newcomen Road, Stamshaw, Portsmouth, who has drawn me this super picture of her pet out for a stroll under a clear blue sky and a big sun.

Katie, who proudly tells me she is ‘seven years and eight months’ old, says her dog is called Sammy.

Now you’re all back at school and working hard, I can tell you’ve been sharpening your crayons for the new term. How? Well, just look at the colouring done by five-year-old Freya Thompson and Connor Brown. Good, isn’t it? Meanwhile, don’t forget to send me your drawings of that new dinosaur Dreadnoughtus.

Chip chip for now. Chipper.
