Dedicated to the 16th century Tudor navy warship the Mary Rose, as well as the historical context in which she was active, the Mary Rose Museum is another treasure on our doorstep that residents and tourists alike should take the time to visit.

Instead of walking aimlessly around the museum, visit this weekend and take in the eye opener tour of the famous museum and learn the true rich heritage of this vessel.

The museum displays artefacts from the ship as well as the ship itself in a dedicated ship hall.

Call in this weekend and take in the expertise of the guides in a tour which lasts about 40 minutes.

Meet at the museum desk at 11am or 3pm for the tour.

No booking is required and the tour is free to attend, with a valid attraction ticket into Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

See historicdockyard.co.uk for more information.
