These sisters celebrate their birthdays just a single day apart, so a joint party always helps them mark the passing of another year.

Alicia Stratton turned seven and her younger sister, Sienna Tappenden, was four at the end of December.

Lucky Alicia received an iPod as her main present, while Sienna was over the moon with her TV.

And to top it off the girls, from Gosport, had a fancy dress-themed party at the town’s Christ Church Hall.

Alicia and Sienna invited more than 20 of their best friends to join them for a magic show, party games, food and a disco.

The sisters had matching Flamenco-style outfits, bought for them on a family holiday in Lanzarote.

And all the party guests enjoyed tucking into a delicious chocolate cake.

Sienna and Alicia really enjoyed taking part in the afternoon’s main entertainment – a fun-filled magic show complete with rabbit.

Children’s entertainer Silly Scott wowed the guests with his levitation trick and the girls even got to take part in the show as well.

Mum Charlene Bednell says: ‘It was really good fun.’
