Spring is here so I’m basking in the sun

Afternoon Chipsters! I hope you all had an egg-cellent Easter. I’m feeling super refreshed and full of energy this week after my holiday in the Lake District. I had so much fun friends and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

So I’m using this week as a sort of postcard, to tell you all about my egg-xiting Easter escapades.

When I first arrived at my friend’s cat basket up in the hills, you could tell spring was in the air. The daffodils were sprouting, the birds were chirping and the lambs were baa-ing. Yes, it’s that time of year chums – the weather is getting nicer and summer is so close I can almost feel the sun on my fur.

My feline friend and I spent my first afternoon fishing on the lake. I’m not a fish fan but they’re her favourite, so I helped her catch her supper for the evening. Being the wonderful host that she is she cooked up my favourite dish – a nice big bowl of Pedigree Chum.

Later we took a stroll through the forest. Spring had certainly sprung and all the Easter animals were out having fun. We bumped in to a family of rabbits hopping about all over the place. They showed us a wonderful spot to go and bask in the spring sunshine.

I’ve returned with a glossier coat, brighter eyes and ready to get back to the hustle and bustle of canine life. I’d recommend a spring break in the sun to anyone.

COMPETITIONS

It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for all week, Chipsters – the announcement of the competition winners.

A big ‘well done’ to Edward Milne (2052), Stanley Wallond (1487), Skyla Thomas (5104) and Leah Ford (2119) who each win a fantastic family ticket to see The Octonauts at The Mayflower Theatre.
