Chichester 10k road race – February 5

Starting at 10.30am from the Festival Theatre car park, there are cash prizes on offer for those completing it in the fastest times. Download an entry form from chichester10krace.org.uk

Coastal Half-Marathon – February 12

Starting from the Pyramids in Southsea, the route takes you around some of our city’s best landmarks and boasts views of the beautiful Solent. Enter online at fitprorob.biz

BHF South Downs Way Challenge – February 25

You can walk or run this one with the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Country Park as your backdrop. Pick the 8.5 mile, 15 mile or 20 mile route. Call 0808 100 2109 to find out more.

Swimathon – April 27-29

Get in the pool and pledge to swim your hardest to get fit and raise money for Marie Curie. All the big local pools are taking part and you can pick a distance to suit your fitness levels. Entries are being taken now at swimathon.org

Round the Harbours bike ride – June 10

Get sponsored, get on your bike and have fun. You can choose to start from one of four locations – Havant, Southsea, Fareham or Gosport – and will cycle 35 miles, raising money for the British Heart Foundation as you peddle. Call 0808 100 2109 or email eastevents@bhf.org.uk for more.
