WE’VE got a couple of ideas for you.

MUSIC: You can ride on the ocean waves, take a walk along the beach or even dance with a jelly fish with By The Sea at The Spring in Havant tomorrow. The Mini BSO is a quintet that includes all four families of musical instruments found in the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestras, and will be performing at the centre at 11.15am. In the past 10 years, the ensemble has encouraged, entertained and educated thousands of children of all ages. There is plenty of music to listen to, sing along to or join in with, as well as stories for all the family. The event is suitable for anyone of any age. Tickets cost £7, children £4 and a ticket for a family of four costs £20. CONCERT: This coming Tuesday, five to 11-year-olds are being encouraged to attend a children’s concert with their family at the Guildhall, Portsmouth. Running from 1.30pm until 2.30pm, the music will be performed by the Southern Pro Musica Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Jonathan Willcocks. Music included in the day will be fanfare by Strauss, the Hornpipe from Handel’s Water Music , Aladdin by William Godfree and excerpts from Saint-Saens’s Carnival of the Animals, among others.
